Crossing Paths

It's really cool how God sends the most unexpected people at the most unexpected times.

For some reason I never figured, I managed to book all my air tickets by myself, resulting in a seemingly going-to-be-lonesome travel back home. So before I boarded the next plane home *cue Daniel Powter*, I prayed and asked for company on my flights. Sure, I don't actually mind a lot going about alone. But a girl could always do with some company on a flight as long as almost 11 hours.

And so, God put me on the same flight as a wonderful lady I know from home, who sat just a couple of rows behind me. Then, I braved myself to talk to the person next to me (I normally don't because I knock myself out on planes to prevent vomiting). We talked about New Zealand, about her kids, about my studies, about home. I'm grateful for such conversations.

After chilling in KL for a couple of nights (I had yong tau foo and chee cheong fhun!), I was Sibu-bound.

Yummeh.

LCCT is always a good place to meet people you haven't seen in awhile. I met someone I hadn't seen in two years. Wait, make that two and a half years. It was quite amazing. We did some catching up and then left on separate paths back to our respective hometowns.

And again, I'm grateful for such conversations.
