Batik Cake

I'm loving home.

I made these for Chinese New Year yesterday. Twas' the first time I tried it on my own. Previously, I did make it with another friend and it kind of failed; although taste-wise, it was extraordinarily fantastic. The catch? It didn't become a cake. Instead, we got some sticky chocolate-biscuit fudge. Very sticky fudge. You could eat it with a spoon.

This time, praise God, it turned out quite well. Credits to the recipe owner whose batik cake recipe I used HERE and of course to my friend who directed me to the recipe!

Not perfect, but good enough. Fist pump.

So Chinese New Year's around the corner. Like really. Around the corner.

Hee.
