Blogging About CNY

Even if you lived in the Antarctic, you would know that Chinese New Year was being celebrated by Chinese all around the globe. That is, provided you have Internet, a Facebook account, and friends who celebrate the festival (who use Facebook).

It sure is a joyful time. A time for eating good food with good company; a time to enjoy catching up with friends and relatives you haven't seen in awhile. There's nothing quite like it. 

 Fireworks. Plenty of fireworks.

Quite a number of folks weren't able to come back to celebrate CNY this year, especially those in the USA, Europe and India. It's sad, but I suppose such periods of time as these need to be braved. 

Nonetheless, I wish all my readers a very happy and blessed and prosperous Chinese New Year!
