At any rate, it's well-used because one often desires to welcome a new beginning, and dwell on the opportunities and possibilities it brings. If those exciting yet daunting ideas are put to heart and hands, they could actually unfold. Ah, you say, she's talking about new year resolutions.
I have had my share of unaccomplished and satisfied resolutions, of course. No fear.

The fact is, my paragraphs are going nowhere. I have no points to make. I have just words to express.
One of the many videos I watched on Youtube today caught my eye (otherwise why else would I have watched it?). It's Google's review of the year 2011.
It hit me that so many things had happened this year, things that reveal just how quick our world is spiraling down.
Well, as Nick Vujicic posted on his status this morning, another year is gone, and that means I'm another year closer to eternity with Jesus. I long for the day I behold my Savior's face.
But for the time being, I shall work all things as doing them for Him (by His grace).
Verse of the day (from www.biblegateway.com):
"Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the desert and streams in the wasteland." - Isaiah 43:18-19
Blessed 2012!
